About this car
This beautiful 1961 Chevrolet Corvette C1 Convertible is finished in the striking and period-correct combination of Jewel Blue with contrasting Ermine White side coves, complemented by a white convertible soft top and classic whitewall tires. The exterior showcases the unmistakable late-C1 Corvette design, featuring quad headlights, extensive chrome trim, sculpted side coves, and iconic Corvette badging. Inside, the Corvette features a classic Black vinyl interior with individual bucket seats, a black dashboard, chrome and aluminum accents, period-style instrumentation, and a driver-focused cockpit. A floor-mounted 4-speed manual transmission adds to the authentic sports-car driving experience. Under the hood is a 283 CI (4.6L) Chevrolet Small-Block V8, presented in a period-correct style with Corvette-script valve covers and a carbureted induction system. In this single 4-barrel configuration, the 283 was factory rated at approximately 230 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through the 4-speed manual gearbox. With its iconic Jewel Blue and Ermine White color combination, classic C1 styling, V8 power, manual transmission, black interior, and white convertible top, this 1961 Corvette represents one of the most recognizable and desirable designs from Chevrolet's early sports-car era.
